Craft Group Facilitator
Hours: Mondays, 8:30am - 4:00pm (approx. 40 weeks per year)
Rate: £25 per hourRole: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Therapeutic Craft Group Facilitator to lead a weekly craft-based wellbeing group. The role involves creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where participants can engage in seasonally inspired, creative activities that promote emotional wellbeing, social connection, and personal development.
You will be joining a friendly, caring, and dedicated team within a well-established charitable project that has been supporting community wellbeing for several years. Our current facilitator is looking to retire. Alongside the therapeutic craft group, the project offers one-to-one holistic therapies and a therapeutic community gardening group, providing a person-centred and nurturing approach to health and wellbeing. This is a lovely opportunity to become part of a supportive team committed to making a meaningful difference in people's lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and facilitate therapeutic craft sessions for vulnerable adults.
Support participants in a sensitive, person-centred manner.
Foster a welcoming and psychologically safe group environment.
Monitor group dynamics and respond appropriately to participants' emotional needs.
Liaise with charity staff and maintain appropriate records as required.
Skills:
Qualification and/or experience in therapeutic counselling, counselling skills, or a related field.
Experience facilitating groups and supporting vulnerable adults.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Interest in creative and craft-based therapeutic activities.

Fundraising Volunteer
Role: Drive our fundraising efforts to support our ongoing and future projects. Help us identify new fundraising opportunities, write grant applications, and plan events.
Skills: Experience with fundraising, grant writing, or event planning helpful but not essential. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential.
Commitment: 4-6 hours monthly, with flexible hours to suit your schedule.
